Why Jewellery?

Well, it fulfils two roles for me.

It is decorative

A statement piece or splash of colour

worn to compliment an outfit, reflect a mood.

Or it can be personal and more significant

I create and wear pieces that centre me and have emotional value,

a reminder of people, places, intentions.

I work with sterling silver and semi-precious stones because the connection with natural elements is important to me.

The process of turning these raw materials into jewellery is incredibly rewarding.

At my bench I am in my happy place.
